In April 2024, the Dade Battlefield Society Board of Directors took on the herculean effort of formally reviewing, updating, and amending the existing bylaws of the organization. This process ensures that the governing rules remain accurate, relevant and aligned with current laws, organizational practices and strategic goals. Revisions may address structural changes, membership policies, officer duties, meeting procedures or other operational aspects. The bylaws are now published for review by the members of Dade Battlefield Society. Voting for acceptance of the revisions will take place at the Annual Meeting to be held on June 3, 2025, at 6 P.M. at Dade Battlefield Historic State Park in the Major Dade Lodge. Everyone is welcome to attend the Annual Meeting but only current members of Dade Battlefield Society may vote.
